Developed for Gun Dogs, but now used across the dog world being ideal for any dog after walks, working or swimming. Our Gundog Towelling Coat was initially developed for the shooting field to warm your dog up on those cold mornings prior to the first drive of the day, warm and dry them over lunch and provide a snug drying coat at the end of the day. The coat has the added benefit of helping to keep your vehicle clean on the journey home!

Used by Gamekeepers, Working and Sporting Dogs, Pet owners, ideal for dogs that like swimming and recommended by Vets across Europe. Ideal for use after hydrotherapy treatment. Our special heavy duty towelling fabric is interlined with an absorbent layer which wicks the moisture from the dog keeping it warm and dry, increasing blood circulation and helping to prevent stiff joints thereby prolonging the dog's working life

The Gun Dog coat is reversible so it can be fully utilised during the day and is double stitched on all seams and comprises of two layers of high quality double cotton towelling with an intermediary insulating and absorbent layer which wicks any moisture from the dog keeping it warm an dry. The coat is available in Forest Green or Royal Blue towelling and kept securely in place by a wide adjustable belt with twin Velcro fastening.

Sizing

Because of the variation in sizes both between and within breeds, we recommend that you measure your dog's back before ordering to ensure the correct size of coat is ordered.

The size of our dog coats represents the distance from the base of the dog's neck along the back of the dog to the base of the tail / a line vertical with the rear of the dog. The video below shows how to correctly measure your dog.

Having made this quality range of coats for many years we are able to offer Stock Sizes from 14" to 30". We also manufacture 'made to measure' coats for larger or smaller dogs or to match the individual conformation of your dog giving a tailored fit.
